Cosy Den is a club night based in Hägersten, south Stockholm, Sweden.

It all started in the summer of 2004, on the north-east outskirts of Gothenburg, where Mattias and Johan shared an apartment. Mattias promised Cats on Fire and Le Futur Pompiste from Finland a gig in Gothenburg, but failed to find a venue.

While talking to Johan, the idea to hold the gig in the living-room (and an era of 29 concerts in 18 months) came to life.

After the apartment club, Mattias arranged concert nights together with some friends, elsewhere in Gothenburg.

In the summer of 2006, the I’m From Bräkne-Hoby festival was held in the south of Sweden.

The same week, Landet saw the first night as the new home for Cosy Den.
